About Dato Dr. Rohan Malek

Dato’ Dr. Rohan Malek obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Monash University, Australia and initially did General Surgical training where he obtained his FRCS from RCS Edinburgh and RCPS Glasgow in 1993. He later underwent Urology specialty training at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology, Kuala Lumpur Hospital from 1993-1996, followed by a 1-year Fellowship in Urology in the United Kingdom. He obtained the Diploma in Urology from University College London in 1997 and is a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) since 2004.

Dato Dr. Rohan has been practising as a Consultant Urologist and Renal Transplant Surgeon for over 25 years. He has vast experience in General Urology with subspecialty interests in Uro Oncology (Radical Cystectomy with orthotopic bladder substitution for bladder cancer), Endourology and Minimally invasive Surgery, Men’s Health and Renal Transplantation Surgery. To date he has performed more than 400 renal transplant surgeries.
